Gulf BLVD Blue Beach Cottage

This painting was inspired by a trip to Indian Rocks Beach Fl. I went to the art Gallery there and there was a calendar to save the local cottages and I really liked the art work on the calendar, so of course I bought one and tried to paint a scene like on the calendar (I took lots of pictures of difference cottages). I picked this cottage because of the bright blue color and it looked like a very relaxing place to be.

Still Standing

The Brown's barn before the collapse. I have always liked this barn and felt real bad when it went down. I am still working on the painting, correcting a few mistakes (can you find them?). This is the third time I painted this scene from difference angles and at difference seasons.

I'm Hurring Daddy

This painting was a birthday commission for a friend of mine. Her and her husband went to Israel on a company trip. They were site seeing and came across this scene of a little girl trying to keep up with her father, my friends husband could not help but to snap a picture. I just hope I captured what he saw.

Eze France II

Eze France is a very wonderful little village in south France. We were there on our second trip to Europe. This was a village we visited while there, and I just fell in love with it. There were many artist and shops and we spent all day taking pictures. We walked all over town and if I could I would spend a month there just painting and taking pictures.

Almost Awaking

This painting was for a juried art show "Art for all Season" put on by Gallery North in Bloomington and Sycamore Land Trust. Almost Awaking was one of three that I entered in the contest it was accepted and hung in Gallery North for a month and then at Stillframes in Columbus for a month. I felt very honored that a painting of mine was chosen.

Colorful Antiguain Village

Antigua a beautiful southern Caribbean Island. Iwas lucky to get to see this wonderful village on a tour of the island, and this village just took my breath away. It was a great day for a bus trip because the sea was very high, and not suitable for a day at the beach.

Story INN

This painting was inspired by a trip on the motorcycle on US 135. It was a beautiful day and the lighting was just right.

Mossey Oak Lane

This painting is set in the old south. My consin's husband works on the Nilo Plantation in south west Georgia. I had the pleasure of a taking a tour and it is a beautiful old plantation.

FORGOTTEN

This barn was found on one of many
trips my husband and I take. I find alot of inspitation and beauty on these trips. Sometimes when I see an old homestead like this it makes me sad.
